Weekly Summer Camp beginning June 1 with sessions
running through August 27, 2010.
Campers are grouped by ages 7-10 and 10-12. $199
except where noted.
extended morning care from 7:30-9:30 for $60/wk
extended afternoon care from 3:30-5:30  for $60/wk

Focus ~  The focus of the camp is on having fun...
fun with science, fun with art, and fun with drama. The
children will explore various themes as they discover
these exciting worlds.

The Extras ~ Aside from instructional and fun
sessions in art, drama and science, campers have extra
fun in other activities -- crafts, special treats, inside
games, and outside fun at the Heritage Park (across a
quiet tree-lined street, within safe walking distance). We
visit the ice cream store, decorate cookies, watch a live
theater show, and make sandwiches for the homeless.
Young Actors Ensemble is also offering two sessions of Theater Intensive for students aged 12-14 and 14-
19. These sessions are NOW ONLY $475 for two weeks.

YAE is a professional studio theater company for teens. Campers in the two-week session will work with
professional tech, voice, dance and acting coaches to put on a full-fledged production in record time. The work is
hard and the rewards great!! Campers can focus their time in acting, dance, singing, or stage work (set, lighting,
sound). Your child is also able to do a little bit of everything. Every one is given the opportunity to shine like a star
and develop the technique and artistry to dazzle friends and family in a full production at the end of the two weeks.
    June 7 - 18
    August 9 – 20
Science ~ have fun learning various ways in which
science penetrates the world around us. Children begin
the week by making a tie-dye t-shirt. Activities include
making ice-cream, kaleidoscopes, slime or silly putty,
using chemical reactions to write secret appearing or
disappearing messages, imploding coke cans, using
chemical reactions to blow up balloons, or floating an
ice cube and a raw egg.

Art ~  Being creative and getting messy is the key to
the time spent in our art room. Campers explore art in
various mediums. Artistry includes painting, sculpting,
and making jewelry. Campers also work with paper
mache and multi-media materials as they construct
props for the end of week drama performance.

Drama ~ Young actors and actresses; singers and
dancers; and techies – all will have fun as they learn
about putting on a show.  Each child is a star in
whatever role they wish to play for our end of week
drama exhibit. Our facility has a 90 seat black box
theater, computer-based lighting and sound systems,
and everything it takes to make your child feel like a
professional. Work with our professional acting and
dancing coaches as well as amazing teenagers who
have starred in community and school shows.

Friends -- Every week is something new!! And most
of all -- your children will have the opportunity to make
new friends and strengthen existing friendships.
