Young Actors Ensemble was started in 1993 in Atlanta, GA by Karen JP Howes. The group was one
of the original members of the Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts. It has co-produced plays with
Dunwoody's Stage Door Players and The Roswell Theater Playhouses. YAE currently offers courses
at its studio in Sandy Springs.

Young Actors Ensemble

The purpose of YAE has always been the same -- to
provide young actors with a nurturing and team
oriented exposure to theater.

  • We offer classes in acting, improv, scene study,
    voice, movement and dance

  • We create original plays with professional
    writers, composers and musicians

  • We bring all types of young actors together in
an atmosphere of hard work, dedication and
professionalism in order to nurture individual
    growth within an ensemble.
